They will be having promotions to keep a lookout either on my blog or facebook page to take advantage of their deals.

Now! On to the review on La Girl Glazed lip gloss

I got home from work and was super excited when I got this package because I really wanted to see what all the hype was about these lip glosses!

So here is my take on them I would rate them a 4/5...not bad right! Totally worth the money and I want to get all the colors now...yikes

Pros:

-The colors are amazing and they just launched a whole bunch of new ones
-They smell minty
-Not sticky
-VERY good pigmentation
-Only $3.25 on ladymoss.com (compared to the too face melted lip colors which are almost $25)

Cons:

-Not really that long lasting (but they do stain your lips a bit)
-VERY glossy! (I mean more than I am usually okay with)

The picture below is without flash the colors are:
Top: Pin Up and Hot Mess
Bottom: Blushing, Coy and Bombshell

Love it or Leave #7

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend...or whats left of it :P I just wanted to make a quick blog post on these amazing finds that I picked up at Pharma Plus!

Naturally I went to Pharma Plus to get one thing and walked out with six! I mean they always have these good deals that you just can not bypass. So here goes a review and a mini comparison for you lovely nail polish junkies.

Maybelline Brocades limited edition nail polish from (left to right)

Lavishly Lilac, Silver Swank, Ruby Refined, Beaming Blue, and  Emerald Elegance
I do apologize the swatches are not in sync but you can pretty much make out the colors

I would rate these polishes a hardrock 5/5 mind you, they are tiny bottle but they have amazing color pay off. All the swatches are only one coat!!!

Pros:

-I paid 0.97 cents PER BOTTLE! I mean that's a steal on its own
- The brush is nice and big so you can paint your nails quickly with a few strokes
- The color payoff is amazing
- Really quick Dry time

Cons:

-The bottles are labelled limited edition so I do not know if you guys will be able to find them by the time this blog goes up :(

Now I want to talk about this Revlon Nail Polish that I got with really high hopes!
I mean in the bottle the glitter looks amazing but I needed to paint my nail with 3 coats to get this much coverage however if you look at my swatch....you can still my bare nail peeking through

All in all if you do get a chance do head out and get the Maybelline Brocades nail polish you will NOT be disappointed!

Until my next post

Toodles!

Love it or Leave it #6

Hey Everyone!

My gosh its been so long since I last got a change to blog about anything. However its hard to juggle two jobs and manage married life PLUS blog....pat on the back for people who can.

Anywho I wont bore you with my stories because I have a special review for you today. I went to LA back in January and while I was there I stopped by at Macy's. The representative that was helping me in the makeup section had the most beautiful violet lipstick on so I asked her what she was wearing on her lips. The representative told me she was wearing the new Too Faced cosmetics melted violet lipstick and....OMG I wanted to get them all!

They were actually sold out at Macy's so off I went telling my husband I HAD TO no matter what go to Sephora at times square to try and see if they had any. I managed to get my hands on three colours that I felt that I would actually wear which are melted nude, melted fuchsia, and melted violet.

Pros:

-They have the most pigmented colours EVER!
-Not sticky at all and glide on SOOO smooth on the lips
- The applicator is convenient and easy to quickly put on
-the packaging overall is very small and easy to throw in any bag
-a little goes a long way (VERY pigmented you only need a tiny amount)

Cons:

-Not very affordable they are $25 each
-they can bleed so you might need a lipliner (I always use a lipliner with lip products to be on the safe side)
-The melted nude is not long wearing at all (the darker colours did last a good 4 hours before I needed to touch them up but that was because I filled my lips halfway with lipliner)

Overall I would rate this product a 3/5

If you guys want to check our more makeup product reviews please check out and support my sister in lawYousra with her new blog The Swatching Oddity (shes too cute)

Love it or Leave it #5

Hey everyone,

Sorry for being a little missing in action! Ive just been really busy with tonnes of work. I hope your keeping up with my facebook page to see the wonderful beauties that I have been working with :) if not the link is here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Makeup-by-HK/251331084954099?ref=hl make sure you like and follow.

Now I wanted to do a review on a couple of AMAZING lipsticks that I have come across. Lately I have been melting and potting majority of my lipsticks to keep in a palette to save some space. While I was doing this I realized that I was missing a few colours that I wanted in my kit. So off I went to shop for some new lipsticks. My first stop was Walmart because I heard there was a sale on a Revlon lipsticks however when I got there I discovered these amazing Wet and Wild lipsticks (thanks to my sister in law Yousra)

The colors that I picked up were Just Peachy, Think Pink, Mauve Outta Here, and Vamp It Up. I have some swatches below the first picture is with flash and the second is without in natural lighting.

Overall I would rate these lipsticks a 4 out of 5. The darker colors have a really long lasting power they will come off but still manage to stain your lips for a really long time. The lighter colors are kind of less likely to last a longer period of time. The finish is VERY matte ( I love this) however some people may find that as a Con. Another positive about these lipsticks are the price. At Walmart I paid $2.75 for each lipstick!! I was super pleased that for the price the quality of the lipstick was not compromised.

All in all I would recommend these lipsticks they are dupes for so many Mac lipsticks that sell for $18. Ladies do yourself a favor and grab these for your kit or even for yourself :)

Stay tuned for my next review it will be on a new Mascara im trying out....

Until then Be safe and happy lipstick shopping :D
